Do watersoluble oil pastels dry permanently?

• Once the watercolour wash dries on paper, the colour is set and doesn't re-wet easily. For further detail, adding more dry pastel marks on top works well.

Can I use these on watercolour paper?

• Yes — 200gsm+ cold-pressed watercolour paper handles the wet activation well and gives the best results for the watercolour wash technique. Standard paper can be used but may buckle with heavy wetting. ---
