Volume capped at 89dB, so the earphones decide the limit and nobody has to argue about it

Earphones made specifically for kids, with output capped at 89dB. That cap is built in, so it holds whether the device is a school tablet, a laptop or a phone, and it does not rely on anyone remembering to turn it down. Silicone earpieces in three sizes give younger ear canals a secure fit, the cable is tangle-resistant, and the hard-shell case is there because school bags are not kind to earphones. Connects via USB-C, no adapter, no software.

Benefits

The 89dB cap is in the earphones, not the device, so it holds no matter what they are plugged into.
Three earpiece sizes means a proper seal on smaller ears, which also means less reaching for the volume.
Tangle-resistant cable and a hard-shell case, which together solve the two ways earphones usually die.
USB-C works with the school devices that have dropped the headphone jack.
Nothing to install, so they work on a shared device straight out of the case.
